MNA Group celebrates three years of sustained growth
Despite the significant global and economic challenges facing businesses during the last three years, Yorkshire-based MNA Group Limited has not only weathered the storm but enjoyed a period of unprecedented growth.
Between 2020 and 2023, the company, which has its head office in Goole, East Yorkshire and an office in Bradford, West Yorkshire, has grown its turnover by 500% to £5 million per year. It now employs a team of 20 people and offers a more comprehensive range of services than ever before, operating across four specialist divisions – Health and Safety, Heights Safety, Building and Construction, and Roofing/Cladding.
MNA Group’s diverse and growing client portfolio includes the likes of Howdens, Polypipe, Mamas and Papas, Abraham Moons & Sons, Moto Services and many other high profile organisations across Yorkshire and beyond. During the same period, the company’s fleet has expanded to ten branded vehicles to accommodate its growing team and meet the needs of its clients.
Managing Director Mark Newman said: “I think one of the factors behind our growth was that, when business premises and workplaces had to close during lockdown, we carried out a risk assessment and realised that we could still work safely on site, outdoors. Effectively it meant that we could carry on working throughout the pandemic and is one of the reasons why we flourished at a time when many companies didn’t.”
Commercial Director Dave Rose said: “Having a Bradford office, which we opened three-and-a-half years ago, as well as our headquarters here in Goole, means that we’re now very well placed to service clients right along the M62 corridor. Our Bradford-based team brought a wealth of knowledge and contacts in West Yorkshire with them, opening up a whole new market for us.
“I think the fact that we have such a great team has also played a big part in our success; our employees have the same values as Mark, Richard and I. They’re loyal, highly trained and work to high standards. It’s one of the reasons why, as we’ve grown, we’ve been incredibly careful about who we employ. We take great care to ensure that new appointments fit well with the dynamic of our team.”
MNA Group is now aiming to further build on its recent successes by setting itself the ambitious target of growing its turnover to £10 million in the next ten years.
