MNA Group secures contract to rebuild fire damaged Bradford business premises
Yorkshire-based MNA Group has recently secured a £400,000 contract to rebuild the roof of P. Waddington & Co’s rendering plant on the outskirts of Bradford, which was badly damaged by fire in November of last year.
At the height of the blaze in Buck Street, which engulfed the roof of the building, more than a dozen fire engines and 60 firefighters were at the scene battling the flames. Thankfully, no-one was hurt in the blaze.
Earlier this year, P. Waddington and Co, which processes animal by-products and fallen stock, hired MNA Group’s roofing and cladding division to rebuild the badly damaged building as part of their efforts to get it back up and running after the devastating fire
MNA Group operates across four specialist divisions – Height Safety, Building & Construction, Roofing & Cladding and Health & Safety. It has its head office in Goole, East Yorkshire, but also has an office in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Operations and Sales Director Richard Bloodworth said:
“As a team, we have many years of experience in providing roofing and cladding services to customers and we’re delighted to have been asked to rebuild P. Waddington and Co’s Buck Street premises in Bradford. It was incredibly sad to see the building gutted by fire last year, so it’s good to be able to play our part in getting in back up and running again.”
